Much to The Girls delight we went to the doctor yesterday with my poor sick baby boy. She got to help examine him and make a diagnosis. I think next time we go I might let her wear her dress up doctor's coat I think the pediatrician would get a kick out of it. They love having her excited about medicine.

The Doctor took a good look at The Boy. He has a virus and its hitting him kind of hard. He has such a bad sore throat that there are blister like sores on his throat and the roof of his mouth. She said that we could expect his fever to come down today and that he the congestion that's building up should start to leak out and he was likely to get a cough as well. So it hurts for him to eat, and he probably has a sinus headache as well but all we can do is keep him comfortable and hydrated.

Despite all of this I got a smile today.
