About The Boy: day 3

I recently cut The Boy's hair for the first time. You can hardly tell from the pictures I'm afraid. But it was getting longish over his ears and looked scraggly on his neck and forehead. So I trimmed it all up. It was not a full every hair cut, haircut because he is way to wiggly to try that. So I set up on the Kitchen floor with my newly purchased Hair cutting scissors and his sister to distract him and snipped away. It took longer than it should have but not as long as I was expecting. I figured it would be a rather long process of waiting for him to hold still to cut a bit then waiting again. It was not nearly as emotional as when I cut The Girl's hair, but I kind of expected that. I'm not sure why, but I am also not sure why cutting her hair was so hard for me. I guess its a mommy thing.

So here he is pre-haircut blue eyed and slightly shaggy
And now you can see his ears, even if the hair on the crown of his head insists on standing up.

It's amazing how much older they look when they have the nice, neat trimmed look. He grew up instantly!

Noah got a hair cut last night, too! The closest thing he's had to a buzz cut. I almost cried at the years it seemed to add to him.

The Boy looks darling. Kudos on being able to trim him up on your own!
