NYC Day Two: Staton Island Ferry

There are two ways to experience the Statue of Liberty. You can go to see it up close and visit Ellis Island, or you can go past on the Staton Island Ferry. The first way is I am sure a lot of fun but it takes a lot of time and the visits costs money. The Staton Island Ferry is free and while it does not give you the full experience it is an enjoyable ride and gives an opportunity for some great pictures. So that was the option we chose.

We also went to a vintage poster shop and a used book store where I got books about New York for The Kids. New York, Baby for The Boy and Subway Sparrow for The Girl. We drove home the next morning it was a busy but wonderful trip and I am looking forward to taking my whole family to see The Big Apple someday.
